Ruhof Gives Full Support to South Lake Through a Generous Donation of PURELL Hand Sanitizers

7月6日，一场特大暴雨突袭武汉，数万人被迫转移。从6月30日20:00开始至7月6日10时，武汉本轮强降雨已累计降下560.5毫米，突破武汉自有气象记录以来周持续性降水量最大值。尤其是武汉南湖、光谷金融港一带，渍水尤为严重。

On July 6, an extraordinary storm struck Wuhan. Tens of thousands of people were forced to evacuate. From 8 p.m. on June 30th to 10 a.m. on July 6th, the amount of precipitation in Wuhan had accumulated to 560.5 mm as a result of heavy rainfall.  This amount exceeded the record for weekly accumulated precipitation since Wuhan started keeping meteorological records. The South Lake and Guanggu Finance Harbor regions suffered the most severe flooding.

Sun Science, Ruhof’s re-distributor in Wuhan, was responsible for the timely distribution of the hand sanitizers with the aim of preventing disease transmission and safeguarding the health of people in disaster areas. 

7月11日，在武汉市红十字会的协助下，鲁沃夫的感控志愿者们带着公司全体同事的关心与祈福来到了武汉市洪山区的灾民安置点——武汉市珞狮路小学，这里的灾民多数是武汉市南湖地区的居民。看到因渍水而受困的南湖人，即使来回都是泡在水里，也阻隔不了他们常常想回家看看的心，如此迫切之心让志愿者们百感交集。在与他们交谈时得知，因洪水灾害而多次涉水，他们也非常担心会有疾病的传播。于是，志愿者们立即分发了捐赠的手消产品，并教他们使用方法及日常感控的小知识。安置点的灾民们收到鲁沃夫的感控志愿者们捐赠的手消产品后，面露微笑，感激之情不胜言表。

On July 11, Ruhof volunteers arrived at Luoshi Road Primary School, relocation site for people in Hongshan District, Wuhan. Most of people there were residents in South Lake who were trapped by the flooding. They continued to wade in the dirty water several times a day to go back home even though they were fearful of disease and infection. With that in mind, Ruhof volunteers handed out hand sanitizers to those residents and taught them how to use the products.  The Ruhof volunteers also passed on knowledge of infection control to the residents. After receiving the products and services, residents of South Lake were very grateful to Ruhof volunteers.

时至今日，仍有很多受灾群众生活在一片汪洋里，无法正常上班，更有数万人紧急转移。然而，在灾难的背后始终有那么多身影在默默守候着，所有的鲁沃夫伙伴们与武汉人民心连心，并向他们发出最诚挚的祝福——“武汉，挺住！武汉，加油！”。

To this day, a lot of residents still suffer from the flooding.  The tens of thousands of people still affected cannot return to normal scheduled lives or return to work.  However, Wuhan people are and will always be supported by Ruhof folks, who are praying for them: Wuhan, Hang in there!

武汉的受灾群众们要坚定地相信，明天是好的，爱会让大家不放弃活着，因为还要继续和大自然拔河。要记住，当爱与希望投射炙热的太阳，倒映暖暖的月亮时，昨日的泪光就会随时间而蒸发，回头望时就会发现又是筑好的家乡，打开窗便会看见那暖暖的晴朗。

Tomorrow is another day. Love gives us the reason to fight and survive. Remember, every cloud has a silver lining.
